Happy Birthday, Madison!

Today my beautiful Madison turns 3 yrs. old! She’s been enjoying her birthday so far. Her face lit up when she walked out of her room this moring and was surprised by pink decorations and a few gifts from Mom and Dad. As the day and activites went on she was thrilled by getting THREE WHOLE DOLLARS from Grandpa and unexpected gifts from her little friend, Lexi and an iced cream cone all to herself. We’re planning to celebrate with cake and more gifts tomorrow after Sunday morning service.

I remember her actual birthday well. Seth and I were completely thrilled with our lovely new baby. After two difficult pregnancies that both ended with our babies in Heaven, we were holding a real life miracle in our hands.

3:17am, 6 lbs. 15 oz., 21" long

I know every newborn is "perfect" but honeslty, even other mothers said she was the most beautiful newborn they had ever seen. Here she is 2 days old, on my birthday- Oct. 19th. She had that wonderful healthy color to her skin from the minute she was born, along with striking features and a nice amount of dark hair.Smiling for Daddy:
