I think I may be one of the last stay at home mommies in America to not have her own blog. I have considered the idea for so long... but the thoughts the held me back were too numerous to ignore: What's the purpose? Would I have time to maintain it? Who in the world would care to read about the cute things my children did today or what thoughts ran through my head today? Are my writing skills too poor to make reading my blog fun and enjoyable? And perhaps the biggest reason I did not start a blog sooner was that I did not need one more avenue to express my many many opinions. I do that MORE than adequately as is! But the desire to chronicle my family's happy days, which I think will in turn help me to focus more on the blessings and positive parts of the day, have over ruled the previously mentioned reservations. And maybe there actually is a person out there just dying to hear what adorable things Maddie, my almost 3 yr. old going on 14 yr. old, said today. Or the endearing little quirks of my beautiful Eden, who is 17 mos. And if you spot a typo or two (and I am very certain you WILL) you can use that proof reading practice to keep your sharp eye in good practice. And I hereby pledge to NOT express my many strong opinions about anything and everything from the best way to refill the toilet paper roll to what I really think about culottes. But I do hope that my reader (that make believe friend I have imagined) will keep a sense of humor as she reads, and I will try hard not to let sarcasm rule this blog... or me.
So here we go... I am real life blogger now! I will post more later about my vision for this blog and what is up with the bizarre name.

Silly or not, I, for one, am glad you've joined the ranks. It was nice to meet you face to face. You have a beautiful family. And, coming from an extremely opinionated family of my own, I think I just might enjoy reading some of your opinions here. And just what is the right way to load the roll of toilet paper? ;)
I am glad too.
LOL This sounds very much like my sister and I for one would love to read about my nieces and what ever they may be up to....
