This is our primary Sunday School room... I also used to teach the kindergarteners at the academy in this room, too.
It's been about a year and a half since I painted this and I'm starting to think about adding some more colors and depths to the grass and tree... maybe some flying creatures in the sky.
The furry little critter was supposed to be a chipmunk. But as it became clear that he was way too big, I thought I would say he's a squirrel. But he's still out of proportion to be a squirrel. So I guess now he is a puppy? Whatever. The mutant puppy-chipmunk didn't come out so great but I do like this little worm... he's got a little personality about him, huh?

So pretty! You and my sil Stacy would enjoy talking. She has painted some great wall murals, too. And I love the ribbon board. Yes, men measure things and aren't we so glad?
You are an amazing artist!
What a great job, Kayte! I couldn't do a huge painting like that and keep the perspective! The animals turned out very cute, even if they are not what they started out to be! Amazing!
Kayte, You definitely have a lot of artist in you, you could definitely made some money doing children's murals.
Okay okay, I think I need to stop you all right there... I took it for granted that you would all know that I used a projector to do this project... very little freehanding there! I should have explained the projector and coloring book process I used. So don't get the impression that I'm a Rembrandt! =)
I Love your picture even if you did use a projector, you are still amazing. Just love it.
