Road Trip: McCoy Style

Seth had the day off today so we went on a little road trip to the "Big City" in a quest to find a much needed new coat for me. No success with finding a coat but we had a nice day anyway.

On the way home I captured the essence of road tripping with a preschooler, a toddler, a handsome man and a high maintenance woman.

Here are the munchkins, just as we like them to be while driving: lethargic.

This demonstrates my high maintenance. Notice the three... count them three... cups representing three... count them three... different fast food places. What can I say? I get hungry.
This is just embarrassing but let's keep it real, shall we? Our van is a gross mess during (and after) these excursions. Plus note the miscellaneous articles of garbage, toys, makeup bag from a certain mother of two who was running so late she had to do her makeup in the car, and the best of all: the sippy cup that has been in the car for who knows how long. Maddie found it when we first loaded up and started drinking whatever mystery liquid is still in there. I almost threw up in my mouth.
And yet more paraphernalia:

And here is the handsome man element that makes it all seem peachy.
Here is Seth driving:

Here is Seth breaking the law again:

I guess I've got one of those attraction to bad boy things going on.
And I just had to show you my choice of footwear today. Sandals. In February. In 31 degree windy upstate NY.
I am officially boycotting winter.
And I am apparently boycotting pedicures. And vacuuming my floor boards.

Lest you think I'm a complete maniac, this was what I brought along for the car ride.

Love,

I am busting uppppp!!!!LOL You are so funny, harlarious Kayte McCoy! Poor Seth, ha. He is so good to you and so godly he gets more handsome everyday right. That is how I feel about Traddus, although it is funny how I never noticed him, only on the outside all those years until I saw his true self, and then he was the best looking man I had EVER seen. He gets better looking all the time.
BTW that was not a boring road trip, you are a good illustrator. The speedometer is a crack up, I bet Seth just loves your blogging. lol

Hi Kayte~ Just catching up in blogworld. Oh cute post. Very funny. I love that I am not the only law breaker in the world! I have had an unmentionable number of speeding tickets. I always get caught!!! ;)
